Hell Bent for Leather
A phrase that means going very fast with reckless abandon. We'd like to point out this has no bearing whatsoever on what follows...Other than the leather part. Since we have no interest in being Hell bent, let's go ahead and focus on the leather. We currently inventory four colors of honest-to-goodness natural leather grown right here in the good old U.S. of A.: Texas to be more concise, which according to all of us and many Texans, is still part of the U.S. of A. Our natural leather is marketed under the romantic names L-1, L-2, L-3, and L-4. It's offered for use as a binding material and is available for use on any of our broadloom products. Available in 4" widths (showing approximately 2 " on the face), it makes an ideal edge treatment for wool, nylon, or sisal bound-only rugs and is sold by the linear foot (either attached to broadloom that's been cut to your specific size or as binding only). In fact, with ever increasing interest in natural interior materials, we're doubling the number of available leather options and adding four new items. These new versions are 5" wide (showing approximately 3 "" on the face). They offer additional color and texture options and have the equally romantic names, L-5, L-6, L-7, and L-8. Yes, I know...our Marketing guys are good. That's why they make the big bucks! L-1 through L-8 are in-stock and available now. So if you are among the growing number of folks who are Hell bent for leather, give us a call...We'll send you samples!

Robot Goes All Tribal
Tribal, Ethnic, Casual...Whatever you call them, cut-pile area rugs with well defined but casually presented patterns and textures are extremely popular and our Robotic Handtufter loves them as well. And who are we to argue with a machine that could just as easily stitch us to the wall as make a rug. So we like them too. Shown here are a few examples that our fashion-conscious robot has conjured up and we think they are pretty special. These are all examples of what we can do on a custom order basis. Just send us your own design and for a nominal fee our Robotic Handtufter will gleefully  prepare a sample in your own colors and pattern and once approved, will create your one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Additionally, the experts in our rug department can make the process surprisingly simple and in surprisingly acceptable time-frames. So, apart from our standard rug collections; Shagtastic, Couture Coordinates, and Contemporary Classics, if your needs turn to total custom, keep in mind, we can do it!

Product Review - Lanai
Lanai is a product whose rapid sales growth really surprised us. Here's why: Its short and dense which is an ideal construction for a high-performance product but consumers often don't warm up to carpet of that construction. They think that sort of carpet is "too commercial" and look for something floppier. That has NOT been what we're hearing and sales seem to bear that out. We have over seventy, that's right, SEVENTY, broadloom products listed on our latest price list and in two years Lanai has climbed the charts ending last year at 5th in total dollar sales and second in total yardage. Not bad for a rookie. So if you have customers wanting wool aesthetics on a polypropylene budget with performance that is well above its pay grade, show them Lanai. You'll both be happy with the results.
